Only the Police regional commander for the Erongo Region and the station commanders of the police stations at Arandis, Swakopmund and Walvis Bay are authorised to issue permits, allowing persons to depart from the region during the COVID-19 lockdown period. This according to a new directive issued by the Inspector General of the Namibian Police Force, Lieutenant-General Sebastian Ndeitunga.
