Workers at the Otavi-based Ohorongo Cement plant in Otjozondjupa Region have undertaken a demonstration against the change in employment conditions and labour practices. According to Mining, Metal, Maritime and Construction Union (MMMC) Acting Secretary General, Joseph Garoeb, meetings to resolve the issues with management have been ongoing for years with no end in sight to reach an amicable solution.
