Some people living at the Otjiwarongo dumpsite have appealed to the Otjiwarongo municipality to allow them access to the landfill. They say they are forced to live a life of a scavenger as they have no national documents to seek work or access social grants. Their plea follows threats by the municipality to evict families living on the premises.
