In an effort to push residents to be self-sustainable amidst high unemployment at Kalkfeld Settlement, the Otjozondjupa Regional council has donated building materials and sewing equipment to some youths and elderly persons. The donated items worth over N$180 000 were handed over by Otjiwarongo Constituency Councilor, Marlyn Mbakera, who is also the regional chairperson.
