The Parliamentary Standing Committee on Natural Resources has accused officials of the Mines and Energy Ministry of doing too little or nothing to ensure that some old policies on natural resources are repealed to benefit Namibia and its people. During a public hearing in the activities of Recon Africa in the two Kavango Regions, its Chairperson Tjekero Tweya said giving 90% shareholding to the investors and leaving government with 10% is unfair.
