A Popular Democratic Movement (PDM) MP has called for the speedy establishment of a State-Owned Dialysis Centre to assist patients with chronic kidney failure currently receiving hemodialysis therapy in private facilities in the country. Motivating this motion in the house, Winnie Moongo argues that this will reduce the high cost of this therapy which both individuals and the state continue to pay private centres or facilities for this service.
