The United States President's Emergency Plan for AIDS Relief (PEPFAR), through the American embassy, handed over a consignment of more 95 000 bottles of HIV drugs - to be distributed throughout Namibia. The drug, known as Dolutegravir, is regarded as highly effective, in terms of tolerance, maintenance and a high genetic barrier to resistance.
