The attempted murder case against National Qualifications Authority (NQA) chief executive officer, Frans Gertze has been withdrawn as the Prosecutor General declined to prosecute. This comes after the accused's wife made a statement under oath that she wants the charges to be withdrawn. Gertze was accused of shooting his wife six times at their Pioneerspark home in November last year. The bail order has been cancelled and an order has been made that the bail money must be refunded to the depositor.
