President Geingob confers honour of a national hero and a state funeral on late Lucas Hangula

President Hage Geingob has conferred an honour of a national hero on the late retired Lieutenant General Lucas Petrus Hangula as well as a state funeral. The former Chief of Namibia Central Intelligence Services died on Monday. Dr Geingob also conferred on the late retired Colonel Moses Shapwanale an Official Funeral. The remains of the late Hangula and Shapwanale will both be interred on a date and place to be agreed to by the families. President Geingob conveyed sympathies to the families and associates of the duo whom he said were exceptional frontline freedom fighters who dedicated their entire lives to serving the people of Namibia.
