Violent crimes, including murders, armed robberies and attempted murders, dominated the country's weekend crime report. 

Police recorded 3 murders, including the killing of a 10-year-old girl in Epako, whose lifeless body was discovered wrapped in a bedsheet at Freedom Square.

Two men, both aged 22, have been arrested, while another suspect remains at large.
In Tsandi, a 21-year-old Angolan man succumbed to stab wounds sustained during an altercation at Cuca Shops in Ongulumbashe village. 

An 18-year-old Angolan male suspect has been arrested in connection with the incident.
Another fatal incident occurred in Windhoek's Cimbebasia area, where an attempted robbery turned deadly.

 A couple walking their dogs was confronted by three armed suspects; one of the victims fired shots, killing one suspect on the spot.

In Swakopmund, an armed suspect robbed a boutique at gunpoint, stealing clothing, cash, mobile phones and personal documents valued at N$62,000, no arrests have been made.

Meanwhile, in Windhoek, 4 armed suspects attacked a Southern Cross Security cash-in-transit vehicle near Wernhil Park, firing shots and stealing a shotgun and an undisclosed amount of cash before fleeing in a grey Mazda Demio.

Police also reported multiple rape cases, including one in Eenhana, where a 32-year-old woman was allegedly raped at knifepoint by her 28-year-old nephew, who has since been arrested.

In Tsumkwe, a 39-year-old woman was allegedly raped while walking home; the suspect was reportedly caught in the act by a passerby but remains at large.

Several attempted murder cases were reported, including a stabbing in Ongwediva, where a male victim sustained serious injuries following a quarrel.
Police investigations into all cases are ongoing, with authorities urging the public to cooperate and report any information that could assist in arrests.
