The Town of Rundu has been without water supply and electricity for two days now. Rundu Town Council Chief Executive Officer Olavi Nathaniel says the water situation is a result of a faulty NamPower sub-station in the town. Meanwhile in a media statement received a short while ago, NamPower says its specialized team is at the sub-station at Rundu and is working around the clock to try and identify the source of the problem. The power utility has warned residents to treat all lines as live during the power outage.
