The SADC Parliamentary Forum says it has observed an alarming increase of sexual gender-based violence (GBV) in some countries under lockdown as a result of COVID-19. SADC-PF Secretary-General Boemo Sekgoma said this via a virtual link to parliamentarians attending a workshop on sexual reproductive health and rights at Otjiwarongo.
