Second body washes ashore

The body if the second victim who is believed to have drowned last Wednesday washed ashore at Swakopmund this morning. The deceased, identified by his uncle as Jhony Nailenge, a 38-year-old Angolan national, was discovered at about 10h26, was found on the beach near the Platz Am Meer Mall in Swakopmund, in the vicinity where the boat the two men was on, is said to have capsized. His next of kin were informed. The two, and three other men, were returning from fishing when the boat allegedly capsized. At the time of the incident, the owner of the boat confirmed that the two were not wearing any life jackets, although NBC News could not establish why that was the case. Police said the body was taken to Walvis Bay Police Mortuary for a postmortem examination to determine the cause of death and that investigations into the matter continued.
