The Southern Caucus have defended their conduct which led to the suspension of the 4th Ordinary Session of the Pan African Parliament held in Midrand, South Africa. The Caucus says it was their deliberate strategy to ensure compliance with the AU principle of rotational leadership. The session was meant to discuss issues of mutual concern under the theme "Levers for Building the Africa we want," in addition to electing the Bureau and Bureaux.
