Authorities have recorded a murder, an attempted murder, one-rape and two-robberies in one of the least violent weekends of late. A 15-and 13-year-old boys playing with their uncle's unguarded pistol shot a 15-year-old girl twice near Spitzkoppe. She was struck in the abdomen and upper left arm and is being treated in Windhoek. The minors have been charged with attempted murder and their uncle with negligence over last Thursday's incident. On the same day in Swakopmund, two-suspects confronted two-brothers who were enjoying themselves at a hangout spot in Mondesa. One of the man stabbed one of the brothers with an object in the neck and he collapsed and died after walking a small distance from the scene. Two 24-year-old suspects were arrested and are due to be charged with murder in the Swakopmund Magistrate's Court. At Swakopmund on Friday, a 48-year-old father raped his five-year-old daughter. He will be charged in the same court on Monday. Four-men held a security guard at gunpoint at a bar in Ongwediva, broke into the bar and stole items including liquor and a laptop valued at N$13 000. A 25-year-old soldier was robbed of a three laptops at knife point. No arrest has been made.
