The Walvis Bay Municipality has handed over plots to 20 members of the Shack Dwellers Federation. The plots will be handed over to former residents of Twaloloka settlement whose homes were destroyed by fire earlier this year. Urban and Rural Development Deputy Minister added that towns like Walvis Bay are now equipped to promptly create townships and provide housing to people.
