Unemployed young people at Bethanie in the //Kharas Region are calling on the local authority to consider locals first when there are job opportunities. A group of about 50 youth demonstrated at Bethanie recently to express their dissatisfaction with the recruitment process, claiming that they are not considered first whenever job opportunities arise at the village.
