Head of UNESCO's Science Unit for Southern Africa, Dr Martiale Kana, says it is difficult to attract women to technical fields due to obstacles they face at workplaces that need to be removed. Dr Kana was speaking during the commemoration of the International Day of Women and Girls in Science.
