Walvis Bay municipality reinstates CEO and top managers

The Walvis Bay municipality has resolved to re-instate the four people that were suspended over millions of dollars that had allegedly disappeared from the mass land servicing project. Chief Executive Officer Muronga Haingura, General Manager for Community Affairs Agostinho Victor, Manager for Properties and Housing Jack Manale and Property Clerk Connie Summers were suspended in December 2020 to pave way for the investigation. Public Relations Manager Kevin Adams, told NBC News that during an extraordinary council meeting a final report from auditors reviewed before a decision was reached. The council meeting took place on 25 August 2021. The officials are expected to report to work on 1 September
