The Windhoek Central and Katutura Hospitals have suspended referral of all non-urgent cases from regions with immediate effect. Chief Medical Superintendent, Dr David Uirab told NBC News that the suspension is meant to intensify measures against COVID-19, a disease that has put the two facilities under immense pressure.
