The Khomas Health Directorate has issued an urgent announcement, calling on Windhoek residents to limit requests for COVID-19 testing at the Robert Mugabe Clinic, to cases where they show signs and symptoms associated with the coronavirus. COVID-19 testing for individuals who are not sick has thus been assigned to two locales, namely the National Training Centre next to UNAM's Hage Geingob Campus; and the Katutura Community Hall. Testing will be conducted, from Mondays to Fridays, between 08h00 and 17h00. Sick patients showing signs and symptoms of COVID-19 are the only ones, the health ministry says, expected to seek medical attention at Robert Mugabe Clinic.
