Informal settlements in the capital city are finally getting connected to electricity they have so long been waiting for. The City of Windhoek will officially switch on electricity for individual households connected to the electricity grid in the areas of Babylon One Nation areas this afternoon. It will also switch on seven high mast lights in the Samora Machel, Moses Garoeb and Tobias Hainyeko constituencies. All these are part of the city's upgrading and development of its informal settlements.
