The Zambezi Business Forum is supporting a request by street vendors to be allowed to start operating at Katima Mulilo. President of the Zambezi Business Forum, Benjamin Limbo said since the early 1990s street vendors faced rejection and threats from the Town Council. Furthermore, Limbo criticised law enforcement and accused them of violating vendors through personal attacks and harassment.
