Voting in the Presidential and National Assembly elections in Zimbabwe went peaceful without incidences of violence or intimidation. The Zimbabwe Electoral Commission says 90% of polling stations opened on time and there was a high voter turnout. Electoral observers agree, this year's elections are not only free, but there were few incidences of violence, especially during the campaign period.
