Namibia's 33rd Independence Day celebration will be held at Outapi in the Omusati region.

This was announced by the Ministry of Information and Communication Technology in a media statement a while ago and will be under the theme "A People United for Prosperity."

As Namibia prepares to mark yet another year of freedom and independence, Outapi town, the capital seat of the Omusati Region, has been chosen to host this historic event.

Namibia's independence celebrations are held on a rotational basis, with the last one having been conducted in the Erongo Region at Swakopmund.

The anniversary will be held under the theme "A People United for Prosperity" and will be addressed by the head of state, President Hage Geingob.

The day is usually held to celebrate the nation's freedom, independence, sovereignty, and self-determination.

The event will be broadcast live on nbc TV and streamed on the ministry's social media accounts, as well as those of the New Era, the Namibia Press Agency, and the nbc Digital News pages.
