Wanderers Rugby Club dominated the NRU Club sevens at the Hage Geingob Stadium over the weekend.

The Namibia Rugby Union hosted its first Club sevens competition for the year. The tournament saw Wanderers walking away with both the Reserve and Premiere League titles.

In the Reserve league, Wanderers beat Western Suburbs 24-12.

The men in white ran in a total of four tries through Elgeno Gamatham, Ethan Williams, Reben Botha & Sheron Rosouw

Western Suburbs on the other hand scored two tries through Dwayne van Zyl and Daniel September.


In the closely contested Premiere league final, Wanderers beat Rehoboth 12 points to 5.

Khee-Shaan Beukes puts Rehoboth in the lead with 5 points at the half time.

Meanwhile Armand Kotze score two consecutive tries in the second half to see Wanderers lifting their second cup on the day.
