Immanuel Shifidi Secondary School hosts FIFA Football for Schools initiative Having attended the FIFA Football for Schools capacity-building workshop at the Soccer House yesterday, facilitators got straight to work this morning as they felt empowered to train the learners of the Immanuel Shifidi Secondary School in Windhoek.

The 3-day programme run by FIFA in collaboration with UNESCO is aimed at contributing to the education and development of around 700 million children around the world, seeking to give every child the chance to play football.

The mass participation programme which started in 2019, was brought to life by facilitators at the Immanuel Shifidi Secondary School today, who attended the workshop at the NFA Soccer House yesterday. 

The initiative's target is to train and capacitate children from the age of 4 to 14 in Namibian secondary and combined schools.
