After struggling to pick up maximum points last week, Life Fighters finally recorded a win on the road on Saturday when they defeated Tigers by 4 goals to 3.
The last time the two sides met, it was Tigers who emerged victorious by 4 goals to three. This time around, Life Fighters were in to take revenge.
From the first whistle, Okahatjirona applied early pressure which resulted in a Jackson Eliakim's goal via a deflection.
The Fighters' front four caused further problems for Ingwenyama to score the second when Eliakim turned into a provider to set up Lazarus Naruseb who headed in for 2 nil.
The Shandumbala boys headed into the break with little to show.
They would however come back in the second half guns blazing. Itamunua Keimuine pulled one back from an Absalom Iimbodi set piece delivery.
That joy was short lived because Eliakim found a gap in their defence to make it 3 - 1.
Ingwenyama were then forced to make 3 substitutions, which made the difference.
Substitute Shane Van Wyk, capitalized on a defensive error which allowed him to twist, turn and volley home Tigers' second goal.
With Life Fighters failing to clear their lines, Natangwe Petrus punished them as his strike went all the way through the bodies into the back of the net for an equaliser.
At 3 - 3 Life Fighters looked down and out, as Tigers on the other hand were looking to repeat the 4-3 heroics they managed in Otjiwarongo a couple months ago.
But - Life Fighters were not done yet: Musinga tapped in a cross at the far post for the winning goal which sent the Skw stadium into a frenzy.
4-3 was how it ended in favour of Life Fighters, who handed Tigers their first loss under James Britz.
Life Fighters' head coach, Chabala Elemu told NBC sport that he was not surprised that Tigers would mount a comeback as he knew what they are capable of.
The defeat was hard to take for Tigers assistant coach, Mekondjo Naholo who stated that they will have to evaluate and move on to the next league game.
With the season approaching it's end, the two teams are aiming to pick up maximum points to cement their places among the topflight's high flying teams.
