The Acting Executive Director of the Namibian Institute of Public Administration and Management (NIPAM), Sankwasa Mubita, says it is imperative to consider vocational training as it contributes to the growth of the country.

Mubita said this at the signing of a memorandum of understanding between NIPAM and the Windhoek Vocational Training Centre (WVTC).

The three-year-long MoU will help promote and develop areas of mutual interest in fields related to, but not limited to, capacity-building research and marketing.

Mubita reiterates the importance of vocational training for the country's industrial growth.

According to Mubita, the agreement is a testament to the vision and commitment of both parties to work together and maximize the use of their resources and expertise for mutual benefit.

The MOU will also help students find job attachments and internships.
