The security sector in the Zambezi Region is gathered for a one-week customer service training workshop at the Simon Mutumba Training Centre.

The training will explore issues such as integrity and ethical principles in public service, protocol and etiquette in customer service, teamwork, quality in customer service, and time management.

The workshop will also deal with conflict management, emotional intelligence, telephone etiquette, dealing with angry or difficult customers, and stress management, among others.

The Deputy Director for Immigration in the Zambezi Region, Matilda Musweu, reminded border officials that customers are always right and must be respected at all costs, even when they commit mistakes, while Zambezi Police Regional Commander, Commissioner Andreas Shilelo, emphasised the issue of integrity.
