The Brave Warriors are currently in their final phase of preparation for their upcoming AFCON qualifiers match against Burundi, which will take place next week Tuesday in Tanzania. With the stadium in Burundi deemed unfit to host international matches, both teams will meet on neutral ground as they battle it out for a spot at the AFCRON 2024 tournament in Ivory Coast. Coach Collin Benjamin has expressed his satisfaction with how training has been progressing and stated that the team is fully aware of what's at stake. The players have been putting in hard work under the guidance of their technical team as they prepare for this anticipated clash. Currently sitting atop Group C with five points, followed by Cameroon on three points and Burundi on one point, Brave Warriors captain who is the Mamelodi Sundowns star striker Peter Shalulile, spoke about the challenges ahead. We also had an opportunity to speak to some of the other players who shared insights into how training has been progressing thus far. The team is scheduled to travel to Tanzania on Thursday ahead of Tuesday's crucial encounter.
