President Dr. Hage Geingob has restated his commitment to continue working with France to foster and strengthen their relations.
The Head of state said this in a congratulatory message to France's President Emmanuel Macron on the anniversary of Bastille Day.
President Geingob wished for the French citizens to treasure the legacy of the Revolution as a beacon to overcome challenges together.
The Head of state further reminisced on the pivotal role the French Government played in the implementation of United Nations Security Council Resolution 435.
He commended France for opposing the linking of Namibia's independence with the withdrawal of Cuban troops from Angola.
