NBC's Kaisames FM will host its 17th ||Goa!haob Social Games at Otjiwarongo in August.
Kaisames station manager Desrae Christiaan says the ||Goa!haob Social Games are an extension of the station's popular morning show, ||Goa!haob.
She says, "The ||Goa!haob Social Games were established in Outjo in 2006 as a simple networking gathering for Kaisames FM listeners to engage in friendly soccer and netball matches. Since then, it has evolved into a powerful social and economic platform, fostering opportunities for social and cultural interchange."
Christiaan concludes that the unique social gathering brings together people of all ages and backgrounds, creating a vibrant atmosphere of sportsmanship, entertainment, and community bonding.
The ||Goa!haob Social Games will also see a friendly boxing match between the station's popular radio host, Gerson Ore-Aob, and several public figures in the town.
