The Minister of International Relations and Cooperation, Netumbo Nandi-Ndaitwah, and the Governor of the |Khomas Region, Laura Mcleod-Katjirua, were among those who paid tribute to the late Archbishop Petrus Tjijombo.

Friends and acquaintances of the late Archbishop continue to pay tribute at his house in Windhoek.

Tjijombo, who was 87 years old, was described as a God-fearing man, a community leader, and an anti-apartheid and liberation struggle icon.

Deputy Prime Minister Netumbo Ndandi-Ndaitwah and |Khomas Governor Laura Mcleod-Katjirua joined the mourners to convey their messages of condolence.

The late Katikisa has conferred an official funeral and will be buried at Otjiuaneho in Otjinene Constituency on August 6th.
