Namibia stands to benefit from Algeria's Agency of International Cooperation for Solidarity and Development.

Potential sectors for such financing encompass agriculture, education, and health.

In February of this year, Algeria unveiled a fund of N$18.7 billion aimed at financing development projects throughout the continent.

The Algerian government has outlined that the fund will particularly target projects that advance continental integration and expedite development in Africa.

From Namibia's perspective, potential proposals could centre around projects within the agricultural sector.

The two countries currently have 17 bilateral agreements in place, covering a range of areas of cooperation.

Algeria's Ambassador to Namibia, Seddik Saoudi, bade farewell to President Hage Geingob following the end of his diplomatic tour of duty.
