The Otjozondjupa Governor is the patron of the National Debate Championship.
The Otjozondjupa Governor, James Uerikua, says, "One of the key things that are important in any debate is persistence and resistance. You must be persistent to do the right thing. Research and literature reviews Sit in libraries; you have Google, you have Amazon, and you have everything else; these are all engines you can use for your research purposes. Don't stand out here for whatever reason and start to doubt and fear yourself because public speaking requires you to have ultimate confidence."
MVA's Head of Accident Injury Prevention, Jones Lutombi, expressed satisfaction with the learners' level of debate, which the Fund says encourages road safety.
"We believe that our efforts here will ripple out into society, making our roads safer for all. As the sponsor, we urge everyone to take the lessons learned from this event and apply them in their daily lives."
