The Namibia Premier League encounter between Orlando Pirates and Life Fighters, originally postponed due to electricity challenges at the Independence Stadium, have now been rescheduled.

The match will kick off at 17:30 today at the same venue. Reliable sources from the Ministry of Sport, Youth, and National Service have confirmed that the electricity issue has been resolved.

It is, however, important to note that the stadium can only accommodate two matches per day. As a result, the original scheduling of games for this weekend will be affected.

Initially, three games were scheduled for Friday, two for Saturday, and four for Sunday.

On Saturday, FC Ongos and Okahandja United will kick off their match at 18:00, while Khomas Nampol will face Mighty Gunners at 20:00, both matches taking place at the Windhoek Independence Stadium.

Unfortunately, the match between UNAM and Pirates, which was originally set for Friday, will not be played on that day as planned.

The Namibia Football Association (NFA) has released a press statement indicating that they will reschedule the Saturday and Sunday games impacted by this situation.

The new dates and times for these matches will be communicated to the public in due course. Stay tuned for further updates.
