The Richelieu Eagles started off their ICC Men's T20 World Cup Africa Qualifier with a seven wickets win against Zimbabwe.

Namibia won the toss and sent Zimbabwe in to bat first in their opening match of the tournament.

Zimbabwe managed to score 132 for the loss of eight in their 20 overs, thus setting Namibia 133 to win the match.

The Richelieu Eagles only needed 14.4 overs to reach their target as they registered 134 for the loss of only three wickets.

The Richelieu Eagles will next face Uganda in their second match of the qualifying tournament on Friday before engaging Rwanda on Saturday with both matches to be played at Wanderers.
