Timotheus Muronga accused of the murder of his ex-girlfreind was denied bail in the Rundu magistrate court on Wednesday.

Kapapero Ndano who was found on Monday at Tumweneni informal settlement in Rundu with stab wounds. 

Muronga who made his firts appearnce on Wednesday was advised to get legal representation.

Muronga is reported to be Kando's ex-boyfriend and were in a relationship since 2020.

It is alleged that their relationship ended last year due to violence.

The lifeless body of Ndano was found by a passer-by in the Tumweneni sewerage yard.

The deceased was stabbed with an unknown sharp object several times and she died on the spot. 

It is alleged that Ndano was last seen on Sunday evening by her neighbours.

According to her eight year-old son, Ndano was on a phone call with an unknown man, when she locked him in the house and left. 

The deceased is suspected to have been raped before she was murdered.
