The Oshikoto Regional Governor, Penda ya Ndakolo, has expressed dismay over what he perceives as individuals making light or expressing joy at the death of President Hage Geingob.

Ya Ndakolo addressed a memorial service held in the Oshikoto Region, at the Omuthiya ELCIN Parish.

Ya Ndakolo suggested that those who feel unaffected by President Geingob's passing, should keep their opinions private and allow those grieving his death, to do so.

He said Geingob should be honoured for his significant contributions to the nation.

Ya Ndakolo shared of the many experiences shared between them, including meeting influential figures on the world stage, such as Russian President Vladimir Putin.

During his tenure, Geingob would frequent the Oshikoto Region, where he attended church at the congregation where his memorial service was held.
