The Swapo Party has condemned the killing of unarmed civilians at a concert hall outside Moscow, Russia, by terrorists on Friday.

More than 130 people were killed and over 100 were injured in the attack.

In a statement issued on behalf of the party, Secretary General Sophia Shaningwa says those who disagree with the leadership of the Russian Federation and its ideological position should under no circumstances resort to the killing of innocent and unarmed Russian citizens.

Shaningwa further condemns countries, organisations, or individuals who are complicit in harbouring terrorists and enabling them to commit crimes against humanity.

US-based CNN reports that four suspects in the Crocus City Hall attack, which left at least 137 people dead in Moscow, have been charged with committing a terrorist act. They are facing possible life imprisonment.

ISIS, also known as the Islamic State group, has claimed the attack and released graphic footage purporting to show the incident.
