In the Debmarine Namibia Premiership matches played across the country, Okakarara Young Warriors have managed to escape the relegation zone.

Tigers and Mighty Gunners shared points in Round 27 on Friday evening, while Khomasdal-based Civics secured a 1-0 victory against Eeshoke Chula Chula at UNAM Stadium on Saturday.

In other matches, Julinho Sporting and Okakarara Young Warriors were defeated by Young African and FC Ongos, respectively. Following their 2-1 win, Ongos moved level on points with Khomas Nampol (both on 55 points) but remained in 3rd place due to Nampol's superior goal difference.

The biggest upset of Round 28 occurred as Tigers were defeated by Eeshoke Chula Chula 1-0 at Independence Stadium.

Relegation-threatened Okakarara Young Warriors secured a victory in Grootfontein, beating Young African 1-0 to climb out of the relegation zone. They now sit in 13th place with 23 points, ahead of Julinho Sporting, Orlando Pirates, and Life Fighters.

Julinho Sporting drew against title-chasing Ongos FC, who moved up to second place on the table with one point ahead of Khomas Nampol (56 points vs. 55 points, both teams having played the same number of games).

Civics collected 4 points over the weekend after defeating Eeshoke Chula Chula and playing a goalless draw with Mighty Gunners today.

Overall, the Debmarine Premiership title race remains tight with Ongos leading the pack.
