The Namibia Rugby Union (NRU) and Ongo's Valley, a development company, have announced sponsorship for sevens rugby tournaments hosted by Western Suburbs Rugby Club.

This partnership aims to promote the sport and encourage physical health within Namibian communities. Ongo's Valley has a history of supporting sport development in Namibia. Their latest initiative focuses on rugby sevens, a fast-paced and exciting format of the game.

This partnership will see Western Suburbs host a series of tournaments across the country. "Our goal is to promote fitness and physical health in the community through rugby," stated Graig.

NRU CEO John Heyns praised Ongo's Valley for their sponsorship and encouraged other corporations to follow suit. Vaughan Petersen, President of Western Suburbs, expressed his excitement about hosting the tournaments.

The sevens tournaments will commence after the conclusion of the Rugby League season in September and October. This partnership between Ongo's Valley, the NRU, and Western Suburbs promises to bring exciting rugby action and promote healthy lifestyles across Namibia.
