With only three games remaining in the country's Women's elite league, FC Ongos Ladies have successfully retained their FNB Women's Super League title.

The team currently sits at the top with 55 points, a commanding lead of 16 points ahead of the competition.

Beauties FC and Girls & Goals FC are in second and third place, respectively, both with 39 points each.

FC Ongos Ladies' Captain, Lovisa Mulunga, said that her teammates' eagerness to win the league is what motivates them to remain competitive every season.

Despite winning the league title, FC Ongos Ladies' caretaker coach expects his team to deliver champion performances in their last three games of the season.

The FNB Women's Super League continues this weekend with 12 games.

FC Ongos Ladies will face Girls & Goals FC at the NFA Technical Center on Saturday, May 4, and then they will have a clash against UNAM Bokkies FC at the UNAM Stadium on Sunday, 5 May.
