Aiming to empower women in Namibia through golf, mobile telecommunications company MTC launched the MTC Women in Golf program in 2023. The program has already graduated 30 women.

In the program's second phase, MTC Women in Golf Program Coordinator Steffie Skrywer provided an overview of how the program has operated since its launch in 2023.

Professional golfer and project head coach Joe Nawanga expressed his gratitude to the project organizers for their efforts in developing golf in the country.

Several participants shared their experiences in the program.

The program coordinator expressed her desire to expand the program to other regions.
