The Second Boys Leadership  Camp and Training is expected to kick off from the 28th of June to the 7th of July at Ongeyama Farm outside Okahandja.

The Boys Leadership  Camp and Training is an initiative under the School of Destiny Association's (SODA) character-building programmes that provides practical tools for self-awareness, self-discipline, leadership skills, and character building for young people.

Boys Leadership  Camp and Training targets young boys between the ages of 12 and 20.

The programme is done through group activities, problem-solving challenges, and interactions with coaches and mentors.

The Chief Executive Officer of SODA, Sidney Boois, says the programme encourages boys to build strong moral foundations, develop empathy, and practice good decision-making.

"What we are saying is that boys should be cared about, but boys also need to understand they need to care about society. We have a role to play. Our 4by4 initiative is meant to rekindle and instill hope in the boy child in society to create positive boys in our homes and society."

Boois says they plan to extend the initiative to other regions in the near future.
