The Brave Warriors have concluded their preparations for the COSAFA tournament, scheduled from June 26 to July 7 in South Africa.

The squad receives a significant boost with the addition of midfielder Aprocius Petrus, who plays for Cape Town City in South Africa, and defender Ivan Kamberipa, representing Orapa United in Botswana.

Both Aprocius Petrus and Ivan Kamberipa were part of the COSAFA Cup team that narrowly lost to Zambia in the 2022 finals. Heading into the 23rd edition of the regional competition, both players expressed confidence in the current squad and are aiming for the title.

Coach Collin Benjamin welcomed the inclusion of Petrus and Kamberipa, emphasizing that their experience will add crucial balance to the squad.

The Brave Warriors will face Angola on Friday, June 28, Lesotho on Monday, July 1, and the Seychelles on July 3.
