The Kickboxing Federation hosted its most spectacular martial arts event yet, Desert Storm 5 International, at the Jan Wilkens Indoor Sport Complex in Walvis Bay over the weekend.

This two-day event featured high-octane action and intense competition in Jiu-Jitsu and Kickboxing.

The two-day event began on Friday evening with Jiu-Jitsu fighters showcasing their skills.

The first day provided spectacular action, setting the stage for an unforgettable display of martial arts expertise.

The Jiu-Jitsu competition featured intense matches and high-level techniques as both junior and senior competitors vied for supremacy.

On day two of the event, kickboxing took center stage with point sparring, setting the trend for what was to come later in the day.

Fans were treated as these athletes demonstrated their dedication and skill in a series of highly anticipated matchups.

Before the highly anticipated title fights, the main event kickboxing matches delivered an electrifying atmosphere, captivating the audience with their intensity and skill.

Fighters showcased their prowess with swift combinations, powerful strikes, and strategic footwork, each a testament to their dedication and training.

These preliminary matches built up the excitement, setting a high standard and generating palpable anticipation for the title fights to follow.

Two senior Sub-Saharan title fights were on the schedule, and they did not disappoint.

In the first title fight, the arena buzzed with anticipation as Delano Müller, making his senior debut, faced off against the seasoned Royal Dengezi from Zimbabwe.

From the opening bell, Müller demonstrated impressive composure and tactical skill, countering Dengezi's aggressive attacks with precise strikes and effective defense.

As the rounds progressed, Müller's agility and endurance became increasingly evident, earning him points with crisp combinations and well-timed counters.

The crowd erupted in cheers as Müller landed a series of decisive blows in the final round, sealing his dominance in the fight, marking a triumphant entry into the senior ranks for the young fighter.

Julian Müller in the last title fight of the night also took on a Zimbabwean fighter, Isaac Mhlanga.

Müller, currently working in Germany, dazzled the crowds with his precise striking and kickboxing skills, keeping them on their feet throughout the fight.

Mhlanga proved no match for the informed Müller, succumbing to a TKO in the first round of their scheduled three-round fight.

Nine countries participated across more than 150 divisions, covering a broad spectrum of weight classes and skill levels, ensuring a diverse and dynamic showcase of martial arts.
