Vice President Netumbo Nandi-Ndaitwah gave assurance to the residents of Nkurenkuru that plans to complete the hospital are still on.

The hospital, whose groundbreaking happened 10 years ago, remains standing still.

"It's unacceptable for anyone to tell the community that work will be done and work is not done. Our governor has drawn our attention to a promise just on my right side, I believe, where we are seeing a beautiful fence, which I am sure has cost this country and taxpayers an amount. However, up to now, we are waiting for the hospital to be constructed. I want to assure the residents of Kavango West that that hospital is not forgotten. I fully understand your frustration, and I could put myself in the same position."
