To bolster international educational cooperation, the International University of Management (IUM) has solidified its partnership with Malaysian institutions through a series of Memoranda of Understanding (MoUs) with Asia e University and UNIMAP.

This collaboration aims to enhance educational standards, foster academic exchange, and drive innovation in research and development.

During the visit of the Regent of Perlis, Malaysia, who is also the Acting King of that country, Tuanku Syed Faizuddin Putra Jamalullail, a firm commitment was made to ensure the MoUs bear fruitful outcomes for both nations.

"Proff Namwandi has given us a platform to collaborate and continue providing continuous education in line with the UN SDGs."

Professor David Namwandi, founder of IUM, expressed enthusiasm for this partnership, highlighting the potential benefits for both students and faculty.

"Facilitated by digital participation, IUM seeks to provide internships in Malaysia. We don't want the MoU to collect dust, we will hit the ground running."

The MoUs will facilitate internships for IUM students within Malaysia's vibrant industries, allowing them to learn from established leaders in agriculture, manufacturing, and telecommunications.

This hands-on experience is expected to build a strong foundation of mutual trust and cooperation between the two countries.

The Malaysian Acting King's visit also included a symbolic gesture of planting a date palm tree at IUM's high-tech campus, representing the long-lasting friendship and commitment to sustainable growth and development shared by Malaysia and Namibia.
